Cages, venturis, caps and sealing options are supplied to match the baghouse tube sheet and cleaning system.
What is a Dust Collector Filter Bags?
Dust collector filter bags are the replaceable filtration media at the heart of a baghouse. Supplied in OEM or replacement dimensions, they are selected by dust type, temperature, gas chemistry and cleaning system to deliver the required collection efficiency and service life.
How it works
Filter bags are installed over cages inside the baghouse. Dust-laden gas passes through the fabric, capturing particles on the surface. During pulse-jet or reverse-air cleaning, the dust cake is released and falls into the hopper. The fabric’s structure, coating and surface treatment determine collection efficiency, pressure drop and cleaning response, so matching the media to the application is the key to long bag life.
Typical applications
- Replacement media for existing baghouses
- High-temperature boiler and kiln service
- Fine dry dust with tight outlet limits
- Combustible and abrasive dust handling
- Food, feed and pharmaceutical processing
Key selection parameters
- Bag diameter, length and fixing style
- Inlet temperature, moisture and gas chemistry
- Dust type, particle size and loading
- Cleaning method (pulse-jet, reverse-air, shaker)
- Required emission limit and media lifetime target
