RTO burner problems can appear as ignition failure, flame loss, unstable chamber temperature, high fuel use or repeated shutdowns. The correct diagnosis should include the burner, fuel train, combustion air, flame detection, controls and exhaust conditions.
RTO Burner Checks
- Verify fuel pressure, valves, regulators and filters
- Check ignition transformer, electrode condition and flame detector
- Confirm combustion-air fan, damper and pressure switch operation
- Review chamber temperature and purge sequence
- Check whether VOC and moisture changes are affecting heat release
When to Request RTO Repair Support
