Design Basis

Tank-farm recovery systems are sized from tank breathing calculations and loading schedules: vapor space growth, turnover volume and the saturation level of displaced vapors determine the design flow and richness of the stream.

System Composition

Adsorption-absorption packages combine activated carbon or zeolite beds for bulk recovery with an absorption column for final polishing. A vacuum regeneration loop recovers hydrocarbon liquid back to storage, keeping net emissions below local limits.

Compliance

Performance is verified against inlet/outlet hydrocarbon concentration measurements; typical guarantee points are expressed as g/m3 non-methane hydrocarbons at the stack.
